How to make Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog- “homemade by Nife”. Today, I will show you how to make chocolate chip cookies. I have tried different chocolate chip cookies recipes, but this is my favorite because it tastes perfectly good. It is also chewy and soft in the middle.

Ingredients:

1 stick of unsalted butter (113.4g)

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1/3 cup of white sugar

1 large egg

1/2 tsp of baking soda

1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

1/2 tsp of nutmeg (optional)

1/2 tsp of salt

1 + 1/3 cup of flour

1/2 of chocolate chips

Instructions:

Step 1: Brown your unsalted butter over medium heat until it turns slightly brown.

Step 2: Allow butter to cool down.

Step 3: Add 1/2 cup of brown sugar to your butter.

Step 4: Add 1/3 cup of white sugar to your butter.

Step 5: Cream butter and sugar together until thoroughly combined.

Step 6: Crack one large egg and mix to combine until batter looks like slime.

Step 7: Add a 1 tsp of vanilla extract for flavor.

Step 8: Add 1/2 tsp of baking soda.

Step 9: Add 1/2 tsp of salt

Step 10: 1/2 tsp of nutmeg for flavor

Step 11: Mix batter well.

Step 12: Combine a 1+ 1/3 cup of flour and sieve in mixture

Step 13: Pour 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Step 14: Combine flour mixture, chocolate chips and batter together. Do not over mix so you won’t have a hard cookie.

• Bake in 350F for about 11 minutes

If cookies are small, bake for a shorter time

Allow cookies to cool down for 5-8minutes
