Stay Alive

Dirty old flowers

Along the bridge of edges

Shedding their flowers

To the seas and oceans far away

Stay alive; stay alive

The perfection is watching

Empty barrels of water

No unempty can to fill

Perching birds; stinging bees

Along the bridge of edges

Windy blow; lavishing broker

The pig is staying alive

Stay alive; stay in love

Stay alive fading away

Stay alive in pretense

All shading and wearing bygones

Stay alive; stay alive

Mysterious angels in the dark

Caricatures in the mind

They never grow as old as you

Stay alive; stay alive

Life is but a dangling star

Stay alive; stay alive

The tongue is sharp

As a tool to kill

Stay alive; stay alive

Friends stick together as one

Stay alive; stay alive

But they let me die in vain

Sometimes when I read some of the poems I wrote two or three years ago, I just smile at myself and cover my face in shame because some of them are senseless and childish that I realize I wrote them for myself in coded ways of keeping a diary. This is a poem I wrote two years ago when I was still childish 🙂
